Unsubscribe Management
PostFrame adds RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe, hosts the confirmation page, keeps a per-workspace suppression list, and supports unsubscribe groups so a customer can leave your newsletter and still get their invoices.
Compliance Built In
Common questions, straight answers.
What does one-click unsubscribe mean in practice?
PostFrame adds List-Unsubscribe and List-Unsubscribe-Post headers, so Gmail and other clients show an Unsubscribe button beside the sender. Clicking it POSTs to PostFrame and the address is suppressed without opening a page.
Can someone unsubscribe another person?
No. Each unsubscribe link carries a signed token bound to the email it was sent in; an invalid or altered token is rejected.
Can a customer opt out of marketing but keep transactional email?
Yes. Unsubscribe groups scope an opt-out to a kind of send, so leaving the newsletter group does not stop receipts or invoices.
Do unsubscribes fire a webhook?
Yes. email.unsubscribed carries the method — one-click or link — and the source, alongside the email's ID, subject and tags.
