Every notification,
on the record. Always.
NotifyStack is the notification engine behind your apps. Templated transactional email sent through AWS SES, rate-limited per tenant, every message logged with its delivery status. Circuit breakers keep a flaky provider from taking the queue down. SMS and push are on the roadmap.
The path from send to certainty.
Most notification tooling fires the message and forgets it. NotifyStack owns the whole motion — template, rate gate, delivery, and a queryable log of every send.
Pick a template
Render from a Handlebars template — welcome, verification, password-reset, MFA code — with your variables merged in. Validation rejects a send that’s missing a required field.
Send through the rate gate
Every email passes a per-tenant rate limiter (100/hour by default, configurable). One tenant’s blast can never starve another’s — isolation is enforced, not advisory.
Deliver + track
SMTP via AWS SES in production. Each send is logged with its status — queued, sent, failed, bounced — so you always have the receipt.
Query the log
List, filter by channel or status, fetch one by ID, or purge. The full notification history is queryable per tenant, by API.
A notification layer that keeps the receipt.
Templated transactional email through AWS SES, rate-limited and isolated per tenant, every send tracked end to end, and resilient when a provider has a bad day.
Handlebars Templates
Render welcome, verification, password-reset, and MFA-code emails from built-in Handlebars templates. Required-variable validation rejects a send that's missing a field, so broken merges never reach the inbox.
Per-Tenant Rate Limiting
A Redis-backed limiter caps sends at 100 emails/hour per tenant by default, configurable to your volume. One tenant's burst can't drain another's allowance — the limit is scoped, never shared.
Delivery Audit Trail
Every notification is logged to PostgreSQL with its status — queued, sent, failed, or bounced. List the log, filter by channel or status, fetch a single message by ID, or purge — all by API, tenant-scoped.
Provider Circuit Breakers
Each delivery channel runs behind a circuit breaker — email trips after 5 failures and resets in 60 seconds. A flaky provider degrades gracefully instead of jamming the whole queue. Resilience is built in, not bolted on.
Isolation & PII Masking
Templates and sending behavior are tenant-scoped end to end. Audit entries mask sensitive data — phone numbers show only the last four digits — and security events carry a risk classification, so the log is safe to read.
The Signal Hub
PostFrame hands NotifyStack its delivery events over a signed webhook; ThreadRealm pushes batch in-app alerts for mentions and replies. One notification spine, fed by the apps you already run — no extra glue.
A notification engine, not a fire-and-forget.

Pro tier and above
NotifyStack ships on Pro ($99/mo, 5 users) and Business ($199/mo, 15 users). Pairs with PostFrame for transactional + marketing email delivery and ThreadRealm for in-app community alerts — one notification spine across your apps.

NotifyStack is the spine every other app sends through: PostFrame feeds it delivery events over a signed webhook, ThreadRealm pushes batch in-app alerts, and every send is logged once — tenant-scoped, queryable, no copy-paste.
Common questions, straight answers.
Which channels does it cover?
Email is live today, delivered through PostFrame and logged per message. Templates are defined per channel for email, push, in-app, SMS and webhook, so the same notification can go out on more channels as they come online.
Which plans include NotifyStack?
Pro and Business. Every plan still sends transactional email through PostFrame; NotifyStack adds multi-channel campaigns, rules and analytics.
Can customers choose how they are contacted?
Yes. Preferences let each recipient pick channels and opt out, and the rules respect them.
Is every send logged?
Yes. Every message is logged with its delivery status, and the analytics page shows campaign totals and open rate.
