SignSeal is the e-signature engine of EternalEngine. Wrap a document in an envelope, route it to one or more signers in order, and capture every signature. Each view, sign, and decline is written to an immutable audit log with its own IP and timestamp — attribution that satisfies the ESIGN Act and eIDAS.

Create the document

Add signers to the envelope
Each signer gets an envelope with a name, email, role, and signing_order. One document, one envelope per signer — routed in sequence, not all at once.
Route in order
Signer one is notified first. Only after they sign does signer two get the request. The document tracks every state — sent, viewed, signed, declined.
Seal with a complete audit trail
When the last envelope is signed, the document locks to completed. Every action — view, sign, decline — is recorded with its IP and timestamp.

Multi-Signer Envelopes
Each signer gets their own envelope with a name, email, role, and signing order. The document tracks every envelope through pending, sent, viewed, signed, and declined.
Ordered Routing
Signers go in sequence, not all at once. Signer two is only notified after signer one completes. If anyone declines, the document moves to declined and the remaining envelopes are cancelled.
Immutable Audit Trail
Every action — created, sent, viewed, signed, declined, completed — writes an audit event atomically with the record it describes. The audit table is append-only at the database role level, so history can't be rewritten.
Legally-Sound Attribution
Every signature captures the signer's IP address and a timestamp from the system clock — the attribution required for e-signature validity under the ESIGN Act and the eIDAS Regulation.
Reusable Templates
