SendGrid
Connect SendGrid with a single API key. PostFrame keeps templates, tracking, suppression and failover on its side, so moving to another provider later is a priority change, not a rewrite.
Why SendGrid
Common questions, straight answers.
What do I enter to connect SendGrid?
One SendGrid API key. PostFrame stores it in the secrets vault and keeps only a vault path in the database.
Do I keep using SendGrid's dynamic templates?
You can leave them in place, but PostFrame renders its own Handlebars or React Email templates before the send reaches SendGrid, so a template lives in one place and works across every provider you connect.
What happens when this provider returns an error?
The send moves to your next provider by priority on the same request, up to three attempts. After five failures inside five minutes the provider's circuit opens and it is skipped for sixty seconds before being tried again.
Where are my provider credentials stored?
In the EternalEngine secrets vault. The PostFrame database keeps only a vault path for each provider connection, never the secret itself.
