Guided domain setup

PostFrame walks you through every step. No email authentication expertise required.

1

Add domain

Enter your sending domain. PostFrame generates the required DNS records instantly.

2

Copy records

Every record has a Copy button, and the page names your DNS host — Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap and more — with steps in its own vocabulary.

3

Check

Press Check and every record is resolved live: found, missing or mismatch, with a hint. The first time a domain becomes fully verified you get an in-app notification.

4

Start sending

Add sender addresses on the verified domain and send from them — through the managed pool or a provider you bring.

Questions

Domain verification, answered

Which DNS records does a domain need?

An ownership TXT record, three DKIM CNAMEs, an SPF TXT record, and an MX plus SPF record on the bounce subdomain. A DMARC record is listed as recommended. The setup page shows each one with a Copy button.

How long does verification take?

As long as DNS propagation at your host. Press Check any time; each record is resolved live and reported as found, missing or mismatch with a hint, and the domain is verified once every required record is found and the provider confirms DKIM.

Can two workspaces use the same domain?

No. A domain is claimed by one workspace across the platform; a second workspace that tries to add it is refused with a clear message. Deleting the domain releases the claim.

Which domains cannot be added?

Public mailbox providers such as gmail.com and platform domains are refused by policy, because nobody can publish DNS records for them.
